Week 13

In this week's content we will investigate how esports is experienced in different parts of the world. You will be required to read about several regions, teach key information to classmates and compare how audiences, communities and opportunities can differ.

Steps to complete:

1. Join the student-led map activity and challenge any assumptions you notice.

2. In your group, read the allocated regional article or feature.

3. Extract key points about fandom, events, careers, community and local context.

4. Prepare a short explanation of your source for classmates.

5. Move through the synthesis carousel and complete the comparison matrix using information from other groups.

6. Write a developed response to the question “How can the same esports event mean different things to different audiences?”

By the end you will have a completed global comparison matrix and a written perspective response.
