Week 29

In this week's content we will complete a formal Spoken Language presentation on an esports issue that is worth discussing. You will be required to organise ideas clearly, speak appropriately for an audience and respond to questions.

Steps to complete:

1. Join the student-led speaking clinic and identify one technique you want to improve.

2. Select a focused topic such as accessibility, representation, careers, moderation, community or event design.

3. Build a clear line of argument using examples and evidence from previous course work.

4. Prepare prompt cards or simple visual aids rather than a full script to read aloud.

5. Rehearse with a partner and improve structure, vocabulary, formality and audience engagement.

6. Deliver a 4-6 minute formal presentation.

7. Answer questions fully and reflect on your performance.

By the end you will have delivered a complete Spoken Language presentation and recorded feedback for improvement.
