In this week's content we will explore careers connected with esports and practise professional self-presentation. You will be required to analyse job descriptions, identify evidence for your skills and produce a supporting statement for a chosen role.

Steps to complete:

1. Complete the student-led role-matching activity.

2. Read the job descriptions and highlight explicit requirements and implied skills.

3. Select one role that interests you.

4. Turn vague statements such as “I am a good communicator” into evidence using action + example + result.

5. Write a 300-word professional profile or supporting statement matched to the role.

6. Prepare and deliver a 60-second networking introduction.

7. Respond to one follow-up question and use feedback to improve your written profile.

By the end you will have a tailored professional statement and a rehearsed spoken introduction.
