Week 31
In this week's content we will practise the skills needed for AQA English Language Paper 2 using competitive gaming and spectatorship. You will be required to synthesise ideas, analyse language, compare viewpoints and write your own argument.
Steps to complete:
1. Complete the student-led comparison warm-up.
2. Read the two non-fiction sources, including the older historical text.
3. Complete tasks that ask you to summarise information, analyse language and compare viewpoints or methods.
4. Review one answer against a model or checklist and make a clear improvement.
5. Plan your response to the statement about esports, technology, competition or community.
6. Write the viewpoint task under timed conditions, using an appropriate form and audience.
7. Proofread for paragraphing, sentence control, vocabulary and punctuation.
By the end you will have a completed mini Paper 2 practice and an improved comparative response.
