o plan, design and develop:

â–ª detailed design and planning

â–ª proof of concept and prototyping

â–ª compliance with organisational policies and standards

â–ª utilisation of existing architecture and resources

â–ª development

â–ª integration

o testing and quality assurance:

â–ª functional testing to ensure the product or service meets the agreed deliverables

â–ª performance testing

o pre-production:

â–ª sandboxed testing in a development environment

â–ª sign-off and authorisation to deploy

o deployment:

â–ª release into the live/production environment

â–ª staged release plan for significant or high impact changes/updates

o monitor and evaluate ongoing performance:

â–ª optimisation through continuous improvement in line with agreed change management

processes

o decommission

o migrate to new solution
