Week 28

In this week's content we will design and pitch an inclusive esports event. You will be required to combine planning, persuasive writing and spoken presentation so that a decision-maker can understand the value of your proposal.

Steps to complete:

1. Complete the student-led audience brief and identify who the event must serve.

2. Choose an event concept and define its audience, purpose and community benefit.

3. Plan accessibility, roles, schedule, code of conduct and practical arrangements.

4. Build a persuasion bank containing evidence, rhetorical techniques and likely counterarguments.

5. Write a one-page proposal aimed at a school or college decision-maker.

6. Prepare and deliver a 3-4 minute team pitch.

7. Answer audience questions and use the scoring feedback to identify one improvement.

By the end you will have a written event proposal and a completed formal pitch.
