Week 17
In this week's content we will be looking at mobile app proposal: requirements, wireframes and microcopy through a realistic Level 3 IT context. You will be required to produce a client-ready proposal for TransitBuddy Campus, including screen flows, interface wording and justification of mobile-device features.
Steps to complete:
1. Rewrite unclear app buttons, alerts and error messages into concise user-centred microcopy.
2. Read the TransitBuddy brief and turn it into prioritised requirements.
3. Select device functions and explain privacy, offline and accessibility implications.
4. Create four linked screen wireframes with navigation and meaningful labels.
5. Write a 300-word rationale linking each major design choice to a user requirement.
6. Give a 90-second client pitch and record one improvement after questions.
By the end of the session you should have a prioritised requirements list, four-screen wireframe set, microcopy and design rationale.
