In this unit you will investigate successful events and use this research to create a plan for an esports event of your choice. Your selected esports event will be carefully planned, demonstrating your ability to consider the factors which make an esports event successful and draw these together into a plan for the event. You will use presentation skills to pitch the plan to an audience and use the feedback you are given to review and revise the plan where necessary. To complete the assessment tasks within this unit, you will need to draw on your learning from across your programme of study. This unit will help you to develop the essential research skills and knowledge required when planning events, as well as the personal and presentation skills expected when pitching an idea to an informed audience. These transferrable skills are suitable for employment in the esports, sports or business industries and can support your progression to further levels of study.
