In this week's content we will explore representation and opportunity in esports. You will be required to compare how people are presented in different texts and then write a respectful feature opening that avoids stereotypes.

Steps to complete:

1. Read the two profiles or features and note how each person is introduced.

2. Identify evidence about opportunity, barriers, achievement and identity.

3. Highlight labels, quotations, framing and headline choices that shape the reader's view.

4. Separate what the text actually proves from assumptions a reader might make.

5. Plan a feature opening about a fictional or researched esports participant.

6. Write approximately 300 words using factual detail and quotation appropriately.

7. Check that your language emphasises the person's expertise and individuality.

By the end you will have a comparative reading record and a polished feature opening.
