Week 10
In this week's content we will look at accessibility and how communication can include more people. You will be required to identify barriers, compare recommendations and redesign information so that it is clearer and easier to access.
Steps to complete:
1. Audit the fictional tournament material and list any barriers you notice.
2. Read two texts about accessibility or inclusive digital design and synthesise the most useful recommendations.
3. Study the audience profiles and identify communication needs without making assumptions about individuals.
4. Redesign an event information page or briefing so it uses clear headings, plain English, logical order and accessible formatting.
5. Explain at least four changes you made and the reason for each.
6. Ask another group to test the redesigned information.
By the end you will have an accessible event-information resource and a written explanation of your design choices.
