Week 9
In this week's content we will be looking at writing social content: brand voice, persuasion and accessibility through a realistic Level 3 IT context. You will be required to create a short social campaign for North Pier Makers that is persuasive, inclusive and consistent with a defined brand voice.
Steps to complete:
1. Spot persuasive techniques, unclear claims and accessibility problems in sample posts.
2. Translate the client values “practical, welcoming, local, skilled” into concrete language rules.
3. Plan six posts across two suitable channels with purpose, audience and call to action.
4. Write the six posts, including useful alt-text descriptions or caption notes where relevant.
5. Use a checklist for tone, accuracy, persuasion, accessibility, hashtags and evidence.
6. Explain two language choices and one change made after review.
By the end of the session you should have a six-post social campaign, accessibility notes and a short written rationale.
